LINE Releases Charity Stickers “Support Kumamoto” Worldwide to Aid Victims of Kumamoto Earthquakes


Proceeds Donated to Japanese Red Cross Society’s Kumamoto Relief Fund

A series of earthquakes commencing on April 14 has caused widespread destruction 
to Kumamoto and surrounding prefectures on the island of Kyushu. 
LINE Corporation would like to extend its deepest sympathies and prayers
to the victims of this disaster and their loved ones and for the quickest 
possible recovery of the region. 

In order to provide financial aid to the victims, LINE has announced 
the worldwide release of a set of charity stickers, “Support Kumamoto.” 
All of the proceeds earned from sales of these stickers will be donated 
to the Japanese Red Cross Society as financial support for relief 
efforts to the disaster area. 

The “Support Kumamoto” stickers will go on sale from today to May 18*1 
in the in-store Sticker Shop and LINE STORE (https://store.line.me) for 
50 LINE Coins or JPY 120 in Japan (USD 0.99 in the US and other standard 
prices in other local currencies). All revenue earned*2 will be donated to
the Japanese Red Cross Society’s relief fund for the 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes, 
which will go toward relief activities at the affected areas.
*1 The sale period is subject to change.
*2 The service charges charged by app market operators (Apple and Google) 
which is included in the selling price will be matched and donated by LINE.
